Hi Mario,
if you take a look at your javascript error console (firebug on FF or the console on Chrome or Safari) you can see that the “Osijek.xml” file is not found (404 Not Found Error). That appens because once the “parts/extruderLeft.html” page is called inside the main page all the files path called by function should be considered relative to the main page and not to the position of the included page. Try to change the path of your XML include from: xmlhttp.open(“GET”,”Osijek.xml”,false); to xmlhttp.open(“GET”,”parts/Osijek.xml”,false); and let me know.
Bye,
matteo

Sorry..web page is http://www.cesting.hr/demo.shtml
that xml parser is in LeftExtruder and when I run onlo extruderLeft.html all eorks fine. When I call it from demo.shtml it don’t work. Even tryed that extruderLeft calls other html with parser-doesn’t work..
I’m looking forward for solution to this problem.

Mario
Hi Mario;
can’t you publish your page somewhere to see how it works and understand why your function is not called?
I’m not able to debug just looking at this XML parser… I’ve to see the how you are calling your functions.

I was investigating and i think it’ because of “innerHTML” 😀
here is the code..
if (window.XMLHttpRequest)
{// code for IE7+, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari
xmlhttp=new XMLHttpRequest();
}
else
{// code for IE6, IE5
xmlhttp=new ActiveXObject(“Microsoft.XMLHTTP”);
}
xmlhttp.open(“GET”,”Osijek.xml”,false);
xmlhttp.send();
xmlDoc=xmlhttp.responseXML;
x=xmlDoc.getElementsByTagName(“dan”);
function danasPROG()
{
datum0=x[0].getAttribute(“datum”);
dtj0=x[0].getAttribute(“dtj”);
tmin0=(x[0].getElementsByTagName(“tmin”)[0].childNodes[0].nodeValue);
tmax0=(x[0].getElementsByTagName(“tmax”)[0].childNodes[0].nodeValue);

Hi Matteo!
I have problem with mb.extruder. I’ve made js which reads xml. It all works fine when I just run that script, but when I put it in extruder nothing happens. Extruder shows me only html and won’t start my script.
Can you help me?
best whishes,
Mario
I am not having any luck getting the top extruder to work when I downloaded the demo or in my own code
Left and Right work, but nothing for top or bottom?
I am using IE8 and Firefox 3.6.12.
Ciao Claudio,
Fammi sapere,
Matteo

Hi Matteo,
we have experienced problems with leftExtruder with IE (64bit). All works fine with 32bit version.
Could you provide me a workaround for this issue?

Hi Mario,
Now the Extruder is at v. 2.3; anyway, as I can remember, you just need to change the js file… 🙂
Bye,
Matteo
what files did you change? do i have to upgrade only .js files or all?
Hi Mario,
You should download the v. 2.3 where this bug has been fixed.
Bye,
Matteo
website is now at http://www.cesting.hr
