Good news for all WordPress’ users. MiniAudioPlayer is now Skinnable!
With the latest update of the miniAudioPlayer (1.4.6), the HTML5 audio player plug in for WordPress, you can modify the player appearance to fit your website look and feel.
This was one of the most required feature for this plug-in and finally it is on line!
Just go to the WordPress settings page of the miniAudioPlayer plug-in where you can modify the “mySkin” CSS classes to kip the right player look and feel for your site.
There’s also an on line easy to use Skin Maker tool that will facilitate the goal.
If you don’t have yet installed this player on your WordPress site you can get it from the WordPress plugin repository.
Please let me know if you like it.
It is “Only for your ears”
Keep in touch!
You should give me the URL of your page to check what’s going on.
I finally got the player to work. But I can not control the player. Mouse clicks does not activate any part of the player on the page. Any ideas?
Hi,
Sorry but I can’t understand what the problem is…
The miniAudioPlayer will render any link to an MP3 file as a player; so, even if you don’t have the editor you just need to add a link to an MP3 file and it will be rendered as a player.
If you have a link to an MP3 file you don’t want to render as a player you have to add “map_excluded” as class of that link.
Bye,
Matteo
Thanks for your prompt and helpful reply.
Using the plugin in http://joseftal.org/contact-2/ or http://joseftal.org/
is successful. A problem is evident in http://joseftal.org/orchestral-ensemble/, because editing the Websimon Tables plugin is done without the Editor. Do you have any solution for this?
Etan
Hi,
You are using the default wordpress player instead of the miniPlayer.
To activate the miniAudioplayer you need to insert the audio file using the “link to media file” option and not “embed the media player” from the media uploader.

Matteo
Dear Mr. Bicocchi,
Player shows up on my page and plays the mp3; but it is just one full length, black/blue player.
I copied the desired settings from http://pupunzi.com/mb.components/mb.miniAudioPlayer/demo/skinMaker.html into the “mySkin” box, but no matter what I change in the settings it stays full page width, no animation, no change in color. Other players are deactivated.
Here is the link to the page: http://joseftal.org/contact-2/
I would like to change the settings to get something similar to your Jaspertine demo.
Thanks,
Etan
